My photography has two distinct personalities, a traditional form
and my whimsical "Man-a-Kins" series, featuring
Little guys just trying to get by
in this great big world.
Both require attention to composition, lighting, and subject matter, although
the "Man-a-Kins" are more labor intensive, since they also
require prop creation and a study of body language.
Although I have recently embraced digital photography,
I am still somewhat of a purist, rarely using techniques that I have not
previously employed in a more time-consuming and expensive manner
in a traditional darkroom.
